All about me
Hello, I´m FlordeLiz. I´m 41 years old and a mother of 3 beautiful girls, who are 14, 11, and 7 years old. I remember perfectly well that my parents told me to study at university, so I did, and that helped me for many years to survive in my native country. But when you leave your comfort zone and find yourself with another reality in a country different from yours, you ask yourself, What now? What are you good at? What do you like to do? What are your skills? For a while, you stay blocked because you think you don't know how to do anything other than what you did at your former job. And since everything has a period of adaptation, I began to answer the questions that were flying in the air. I started with cooking to see if I could start a business in baking. I like to prepare food and desserts, but it doesn't excite me 100%.
Later, my professional training led me to create an Online Environmental Campaign called Edúcate. I wrote educational flyers on solid waste in Spanish because it is the language I speak, but nobody read it, that's why I decided to change to English. I love this topic, and that's why it will continue in valid.

In 2023 I opened my social media with the idea of working from home. My goal was to dedicate myself to digital advertising and support people who are starting a business and are completely unaware of this area, creating their logos and showing their products through a catalog or a magazine. I think it was not a bad idea; I have helped some people, but the girls grow and their needs increase, so I opted for a plan B.
In 2024, I searched for new experiences outside my home organizing, tidying, and cleaning homes, hoping that at the end of my work, my clients can feel peace inside and be recharged to start a new day with an orderly space, breathing the aromas that connect them with their essence, but it was only temporary. I didn't get many clients.
After so many failed attempts, apps like Canva, ISSUU, and Pinterest helped me discover that I like graphic design more, and I like story writing. Thanks to the experience I gained in design, it was easy for me to create my website on Hostinger. So, I asked myself, why don't you get started in the business as a freelance writer? And well, now I'm working on it. I hope that one day my ideas will help the community, or maybe my experience as a mother will help some perfectly imperfect mother who lives a chaotically beautiful life like ME.
Blog
My blog covers various processes in my life, narrates my family history, describes moments of grief with the loss of my brother, and above all, my story as a mother of three girls. If you think that with motherhood, you'll lose your freedom and won't have time for yourself, it's not entirely true. Motherhood has very exhausting stages, especially when they're children and depend on mom and dad. But as they grow up, they become independent and even less affectionate. I'm experiencing this now that I have one daughter in puberty and another in adolescence, but it's also a beautiful stage because we talk and share tastes in music, fashion, and real-life events, where they already understand and analyze the situation better. Honestly, I would stick with the childhood stage; the innocence, love, and caress of our children are something you can't buy in a store. Besides that, you'll never feel bored at home because there will always be housework, so your days will never be the same.
My blog "Short Stories" tells the story of some of the environmental problems we face on the planet, especially those caused by solid waste. This blog wouldn't be the same without the illustrations of my little artist, Paola.
I began writing "Vivencias" after my brother's unexpected death. In the blink of an eye, life taught us that anything can happen tomorrow, so I began to look back to see if I could find any connections or family similarities with what happened to my brother César.
My blog "Walking with Motherhood", is my experience as a mother of three vibrant and loving daughters. With them, I learned and continue to learn that a mother cannot give up easily because everything I do my daughters will be watching me and will put it into practice now or in the future.
I invite you to read it! Perhaps we share some common ground.

And without music, we could not live, its contagious rhythms and melodies connect us to a past or present of our personal experiences, filling us with different emotions. And if we talk about LIFE, we could not live in a deforested forest, in a polluted sea and/or river, or in a neighborhood with rodents attracted by the poor disposal of solid waste and/or garbage. News such as forest fires, indiscriminate logging, soil erosion, and lack of water should put us in ALERT MODE. Let us not be oblivious to natural disasters due to natural phenomena or human intervention. Let's unite in this environmental campaign and start by changing our consumption habits because small actions can have a big impact. I invite you to review my magazines published in ISSUU.
In August 2023, I dared to lead an Online Environmental Campaign called EDÚCATE, on the cover of my magazine the map of America stands the colors of my brand, pink and green. I chose that name in Spanish because I consider that education is the fundamental basis for the development of a country, and I also want to highlight the grammar of Spanish, especially Spanish accents (tildes). I want my actions to generate a positive environmental impact on society. Although it may seem very dreamy, I want my Online Environmental Campaign to cross borders, as well as the music that reaches the most remote places thanks to the internet.

"Paola´s World" is the name of my magazine online, my mother says that she started to see my creativity when I went to kindergarten, but she never saved my little works, since 2021 she has saved everything to show the world my works.
Model Magic - Crayola, helped me develop my artistic skills. I learned to model during my vacations and free time in 2023 and 2024. In Sculptures Magazine - Part 1, you can see more than 30 sculptures.
In Sculptures Magazine - Part 2, there are over 30 sculptures I made during my vacations and free time in 2023 and 2024
My daughter's different skills and personalities inspired me to create a variety of magazines at ISSUU.
My daughter Paola is 11 years old, and she loves drawing, painting, cutting, creating stories, inventing games, and making sculptures with Model Magic-Crayola.
Growing up, she wants to be an artist and make movies. Your logo is a cat because she loves cats.
